Navigating Change

You may not control all the events that happy to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”

Change.  With the advent of the Covid pandemic, we could safely say that most of us had never seen the force of change knock so loudly and on quite such a global level.

It was challenging, to be sure, touching us on a personal, professional and societal level in myriad ways.  Still today, leaders are being asked to make difficult, often unwelcome decisions.  Systemic inequalities and other structures that have not been working for a long time have been laid bare. Emotions are running high.  There is no way to minimize the very real hardship and pain and loss that are touching so many lives.

And still, the best leaders will seize this moment of change and challenge as a key opportunity: to take a fresh look at the why, the “what” and the “how” of the work they are engaged in.

Leadership happens in many settings, and even those who are not in leadership roles can exhibit the courage, ingenuity, and wisdom that are required to help others move through crisis.

EQIQ’s time-tested tools of heart-centered leadership and courage are perfectly suited to managing what we call second-order change, change that is unexpected and different than anything we might have imagined or prepared for.

Originally presented as a 5-part webinar, EQIQ introduces individuals, teams and top-level leaders to these important tools in a variety of formats, customized to meet your organization’s specific needs.

In addition, consider our Executive Coaching, Team-Based Innovation and High Performance Team offerings, which can be delivered with a specific emphasis on navigating second-order change.
