Stepping Up Your Personal Best

All we can do and all that we are can be summarized in the following question, “Are you being and acting on your personal best?” You can only do your best in each moment given your level of self-awareness and personal mastery. What are the core strengths you can bring to the moment to leverage? What is the one thing that you continually stumble over, the greatest area needing development? Knowing the answers to those questions, honestly and without denial will give you a strong starting point for being your personal best and thus being far more effective in life.

What drives your personal best? First is having a clear sense of who you are and what you wish to create in this lifetime. Second is taking honest inventory of your strengths and core areas of weakness (development needs). Third is discovering what you love, what you are truly passionate about. Fourth, is cultivating the heart of courage, to not only outline but to then claim who you, and what you want and to ACT on what you need to address by leveraging strengths and addressing core challenge areas. Fifth is being faithful, day in and day out, moment by moment to your core values and your sense of purpose. These things all create conditions for you to be at your personal best and to be your very best in life, in all dimensions of your life.
